A natural rainbow wrapped in gold.
Legend has it that tourmaline traveled a rainbow, shining brightly in each of its colors. It IS true that this beloved gemstone can be found in every color in the spectrum. Believed to cleanse and purify energy, tourmaline is said to absorb the negative and transform it into positive. As such, it’s used to balance chakras as reflected in the one-of-a-kind Tsavo Sunphase lapel pin with tourmaline totaling 9.46 carats. A hand-engraved radial finish polishes off the exquisite look of this pin.
“Life can be a storm, but your hope is a rainbow and your friends and family are the gold.” - Steve Mariboli
The tourmaline was handpicked and purchased by Debra from those she honors with Watu. With each purchase from our Watu Collection, we make a donation to Gem Legacy’s philanthropic work in East Africa!
“A home made by Gems,” the Mwatate Children’s Home in Southern Kenya was founded and is directed by local gemstone dealers. It is a safe haven to more than 40 children, orphaned or with no safe place to live. Gem Legacy’s commitment to the Mwatate Children’s home sponsors secondary school age children to attend school as secondary school is not funded by the government in Kenya.
