The rough shape of the aquamarine gemstones lend themselves perfectly to these one-of-a-kind, dangle style earrings. Named for the sea, and nicknamed the mermaid stone, aquamarine is said to bring happiness, soothe anxiety, promote wellness, and even regulate hormones! The Salla setting is handcrafted with 18k gold and is set with 98 sand pavé diamonds, totaling 0.98 carat. The aquamarine together weighs 15.99 carats, and while they are large stones, they are not too heavy to dangle comfortably, and beautifully, from your lobes.

The design is named for Peter Salla, a man with a spirit of generosity. For a while, he was one of the few who would teach gem cutting to young people in East Africa. He was so dedicated to sharing knowledge that he would ride a bus 60 miles one way to provide instruction from those yearning to learn.
