Gee – orange garnet ring
$2,940
This brilliant orange garnet gemstone, a passion stone, finds its perfect home in our Gee ring setting of gold and diamonds.
Raw, earthy and genuine vibes
Each Gee ring is as different as the handpicked stone it cradles. The gemstone is secured with 18k gold and accented with sand pavé diamonds. This ring shows off a beautiful orange spessartine garnet from East Africa. Spessartine garnet is said to encourage optimism and inspire benevolent action. They produce positive vibrations that enhance one’s mood, vitality and self-acceptance while cleansing negative energies. Gee rings are uniquely beautiful to wear boldly alone or gorgeously stacked. Pairs well with other Gee rings or explore our collection of stackables!
“Passion is the genesis of genius.” - Tony Robbins
Josie, aka “Gee,” is a gem broker, and friend, in Kenya who often helps facilitate transactions for Debra. He is Esther’s brother (see our Esther pendant!) and has stepped up and in to help his sister, and her children, after the tragic loss of her husband. His simplistic, yet very real, raw and genuine vibe inspired this design.
With each purchase from our Watu Collection we make a donation to Gem Legacy, a philanthropic 501(c)3 who is giving back to the East African mining communities with initiatives like school lunches and vocational training. Visit gemlegacy.org to learn more.
Sizing Guide
Things to know before you print and get to sizing:
- Print on standard 8.5 x 11-inch paper. Ensure it’s at 100% size, turning off any “scale to fit” options.
- Your ring should fit comfortably: snug enough to stay on, yet loose enough to get over your knuckle.
- We recommend a half-size larger for bands 5mm in width or more.
- Don’t measure your fingers when they’re cold. Fun fact: that’s when they’re smallest!
- On that note, your finger size slightly fluctuates throughout the day due to diet and temperature, so your ring fit will fluctuate too.
- It’s not a bad idea to measure your knuckle to make sure the ring will slip over the knuckle comfortably while ensuring your ring stays in place.
Pro Tip: When in doubt, go a half-size up.
It’s easier (and cheaper!) to have a ring sized down than to go up in size.
If you have larger knuckles that make wearing rings a challenge, email us to discuss our custom hinged-shank options.
