Welcome to our Bespoke world where customization is in our DNA. We can turn your special keepsakes into jewelry, repurpose jewelry you have or simply take your idea and turn it into tangible, wearable art. Making custom jewelry is one of our favorite things to do – we get to work hands on with our customers to create their personal masterpiece. It’s one of the reasons we love what we do.
Step 1
Step 1 is easy! Set up a free consultation with Debra. In preparation, gather pictures or sketches of jewelry you like and bring any ideas you have to the conversation. Nothing is off limits!
Things to consider for consultation prep:
- What style are you drawn to? (vintage, boho, minimalist, etc.)
- What precious metals do you prefer? (gold, platinum, silver)
- What gemstones are you interested in? (natural or lab diamonds, colored gemstones, faceted, rough)
- Are there personal or family gemstones you want to include in your design?
- We also accept metal to be repurposed and applied as credit to the cost of your ring
During the consultation, you’ll share ideas and discuss both your timeline and budget.
Step 2
Step 2 is the design phase where your imagination is set free and the jewelry begins to take form. Debra will create initial sketches and design concepts for your review. The design presentation could include:
- Different angles and perspectives of the piece
- Gemstone placement and setting options
- Metalwork details and finishes
The design process is an iterative one. We work together until the design aligns with your vision.
Step 3
Step 3 is when the design begins to come to life. Working with one of our trusted manufacturers, we’ll have CAD (Computer-Aided Design) rendered and/or a wax model created allowing you to see the design in detail and to make changes as necessary before the piece goes into production.
Price estimates for your piece are based on the CAD/Wax you approve. Nothing goes to production with your approval! A down payment of 50% is required to begin production.
Step 4
Step 4 is the production phase where your jewelry is cast in your chosen metal. The gemstones are then carefully set by skilled artisans. Once that is complete, the finishing and polishing begins. Finishing will add any fine details, texture, metalwork or engravings. Polishing ensures the ring is cleaned, smoothed and achieves the desired shine and luster.
Step 5
Step 5 gets the magic into your hands! Once the jewelry is complete and has passed our internal quality checks, we’ll contact you for delivery. With delivery of your special piece, we will also provide necessary paperwork to insure it – and we highly recommend that you do! If we are shipping your piece, we will use an overnight shipping method and require signature. Your masterpiece will be insured from our doorstep to yours!
Expectation setting: The process takes 3 – 6 weeks, on average, with the design phase being the big variable. It’s important we take the time to get the design exactly right. We want you to treasure the piece forever!
